After digging through my drawers for a few minutes, I came across this old cigar box I got in a swap a few years ago.  

I was scared to paint it because the wood was so nice but it didn't fit the idea I had in mind and I don't want to create in fear so I just painted away.

I'm really into these loose painterly portraits lately.  It gives me the freedom to make things up as I go along and experiment with new colors.

I'm not too sure what I will keep in this box...maybe some folded writings.  For now, it sits on my desk and reminds me of my dream to be a full-time artist.  I hope you enjoyed the video.
