For this lesson, we will focus in the placement of the features. Things can get out of wack quickly but I'm sharing my simple tips for bringing your drawings to life.
For the month of August, we will be learning how to draw the face in profile view. It can be really tricky to figure out what goes where but if you stick with me we will break it down in step-by-step mini-lessons and you will be drawing in no time!
In this lesson, we will fill up our page with faces and try to keep them all different. Feel free to look at reference photos but don't be too hard on yourself and put some of your own style into each face.
Today, we will practice drawing in 3/4 view. This can be tricky but once you set up the angle of the face you will do just fine. Let's draw a princess together.

Want to add a bit of movement to your drawing? I like to use hair, clothing, and jewelry to help show that the person is in motion. If you tend to draw the same face over and over this will also help create a different story.
