Drawing the face in profile | part 3

For this lesson, we will focus in the placement of the features.  Things can get out of wack quickly but I'm sharing my simple tips for bringing your drawings to life.

Drawing the Face in Profile | Part 1

For the month of August, we will be learning how to draw the face in profile view.  It can be really tricky to figure out what goes where but if you stick with me we will break it down in step-by-step mini-lessons and you will be drawing in no time!

If you are part of my Patreon, we will explore full lessons, including full drawings. Click here to learn more...

Drawing lesson: Collaged Beauties

In this lesson, we will fill up our page with faces and try to keep them all different.  Feel free to look at reference photos but don't be too hard on yourself and put some of your own style into each face.

Today, we will practice drawing in 3/4 view.  This can be tricky but once you set up the angle of the face you will do just fine.  Let's draw a princess together.

5-Day face drawing challenge

Are you ready for 5 days of drawing the face?  Click below to get started on day 1.  Each day we will focus on just one feature and practice to build upon the previous lesson.  Let's get started...

Drawing Lesson: march winds

Want to add a bit of movement to your drawing?  I like to use hair, clothing, and jewelry to help show that the person is in motion.  If you tend to draw the same face over and over this will also help create a different story.
